Please Vote Krissy Polimeno -
School Committee - April 10, 2010
A few weeks ago, we came together
to approve our New High School and demonstrated to all the
communities that surround us that Tewksbury is committed to
providing solid educational opportunities for our children. What was
most encouraging about that special election was the record turnout.
You participated in the election process and convinced your friends
and neighbors to get involved as well.
Coming on the heels of that special election is our yearly town
election on April 10, 2010 and I encourage everyone to stay engaged.
Although most of the individuals running for elected positions are
running unopposed, that is not the case for the two open positions
on the School Committee. To that end, I encourage everyone to learn
about the 3 candidates running for the two open positions.
One of the candidates that I will be supporting is Krissy Polimeno.
I have included some information about Krissy below but please feel
free to visit her campaign website at www.votekrissypolimeno.com for
additional information.
Photos from the Campaign:
Krissy will also be out and about at town and school meetings this
week and next, so if you see her, please be sure to say hello and
feel free to ask about her vision for continuing to improve our
schools for the benefit of our residents, the school staff and the
students. If you would like to see photos of Krissy meeting with the
residents of Tewksbury, please visit: http://www.votekrissypolimeno.com/Photos/PhotoGallery.htm
Endorsements:
Many Tewksbury residents and town leaders, after meeting and talking
with Krissy, have volunteered to endorse her candidacy for a
position on the School Committee. To see a sample list of these
endorsements, please feel free to visit: http://www.votekrissypolimeno.com/100401_endorsement.ad.pdf
As Seen in the Tewksbury Advocate last week:
Jerry Selissen, president of the Friends of the Tewksbury PAC, said
there was "a spectacular turnout" at this years St. Paddy's Day
Breakfast on Saturday with over 200 people in attendance at the VFW
Post 8164 on Vernon Street. Shown here is a picture of Krissy
delivering her fun and informative speech to the attendees:
